Who we are
Antonym is made by Eden Ventures LLC, an Alabama company. “We” means Eden Ventures. “You” means the person using Antonym. Questions go to hello@useantonym.com.
What Antonym is
Antonym is an AI assistant. It answers questions, reads what you paste or attach, searches the web when a question needs it, and pulls the useful part out of videos. It runs on open-weight language models on servers in the United States.
It is software, not a person. It can be wrong. It is not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional or for your own judgment on anything that matters. Check anything you are going to act on.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email. There is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You must be at least 18, or 13 with a parent’s permission, to use Antonym. Antonym is for personal use by one person; don’t share your sign-in.
Trials and gifts
An invited trial is seven days or twenty questions, whichever comes first, with no card. Some people receive free access as a gift from us. A gift is for the person it was sent to, can’t be transferred, and lasts as long as we say when we give it. We can end trials and gifts at any time.
Price, billing, and cancelling
A subscription is $10 a month, plus any sales tax we are required to collect. You are billed at the start of each month of service and it renews until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. There are no cancellation fees.
We can change the price. If we do, you get at least 30 days’ notice by email before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Refunds
If Antonym isn’t what you hoped, email us within 30 days of your first charge and we’ll refund it, no questions asked. After that, monthly charges are not refunded, but you can cancel so there are no more of them. If we make a billing mistake, we fix it.
Fair use
The $10 plan is meant for one person’s everyday use. We don’t publish a hard question limit, but automated use, resale, sharing an account, or usage far beyond what a person could type is not covered, and we may slow it down, ask you about it, or end the account. We’ll tell you before we end a paid account except in cases of abuse.
What you may not do
Don’t use Antonym to break the law, to harm or harass someone, to generate material that sexually exploits anyone, to impersonate a person or organization, or to attack our systems or anyone else’s. Don’t try to extract the model, scrape the service, or get around limits. We may end an account for any of these.
Your content and ours
What you type, paste, or attach is yours. We don’t keep it, and we claim no rights to it. See the privacy policy for exactly what is and isn’t stored. The answers Antonym gives you are yours to use. The Antonym name, site, and software are ours.
Availability
We aim to keep Antonym running, but it depends on model hosts, search providers, and networks we don’t control. There may be outages and there may be changes. We don’t promise a particular level of uptime. If we shut Antonym down, we’ll give paying subscribers at least 30 days’ notice and refund any unused time.
Warranty and liability
Antonym is provided as is. We don’t warrant that it is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from Antonym is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Disputes
Email us first; most things can be sorted out that way. These terms are governed by the laws of Alabama, and any dispute that can’t be resolved is heard in the state or federal courts in Alabama.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Antonym after that means you accept the new terms. The current version is always at useantonym.com/terms.
